Hi,

I just wanted to send you a personal note that Tanya has been absolutely wonderful in securing the little details for our upcoming honeymoon.  She has been very responsive and pleasant to work with.  I have been recommending your leisure department to my colleagues and  I know this is the start of a beautiful friendship!

Regards,

Charlie

Hi Jackie,

Well we're home, but we're ready to go back!  The Turks and Caicos Islands were FANTASTIC and it was the best trip of our lives.  Everyday was a picture for the eyes and the water and climate couldn't be beat.  We had a seven room ocean front suite that included a full kitchen, laundry and a two sided walk around veranda.  We snorkled everyday and I even got a ride holding onto a sea turtle.  We took a glass bottomed catamaran to several of the islands and snorkled for conch at one island and had a swim and lunch at one special island that looked like something from a South Seas tour book for the rich and famous!

I got to do some fishing on the "flats" and caught grouper, barracuda, yellow fin and one fish that I can't recall the name.  My native friend and I caught so many fish in just 40 minutes that we had to give a lot away.  But, what a delicious meal it made!  He got us everything for preparing the meal and showed us how to cook it to perfection.  It was the best meal of our trip!

We also got to visit the Sands, but the Coral Gardens was TOPS!  You made our 40th wedding anniversary getaway something really special and a trip we will never forget.  Thanks for all your great advice and top notch service.

Hi Tanya,
Sorry it has taken me some time to catch up with you. Just wanted to let you know we truly enjoyed our time at the Riu Tequila in Mexico. It was a wonderful get-a-way. Apple vacations took care of us from the minute we arrived in Cancun until we left. They were friendly, funny, informative and always available. And they made every effort to identify who you were and use your name when speaking with you. Our contact at the hotel for Apple was Ian McAllister and he was wonderful. He let you know the times he was going to be there and if he wasn’t who you could talk too if you needed anything.  He was very friendly, gave great straight forward advice, felt like you knew him for years. HA! The Riu Tequila was gorgeous, The grounds were impeccable, the foliage made you feel like you were secluded on a beautiful island. The  buildings, bathrooms and our room were clean, food good not great but the choices were endless. The staff very friendly, smiling, would meet any need you had. We absolutely had the better resort out of the 3 (Yucatan and Playacar). The resort to the right, I think was Yucatan, very crowded, dirty, food seemed old staff not very friendly. The other Riu to the left of our resort seemed to have more of a “Spring Break” party type of atmosphere. The grounds at both of those resorts could not even compare to the Riu Tequila!! With the RIU Tequila who cares if you were not on “the beach” it was a 3 minute beautiful walk on a shaded corridor. THANK YOU so much Tanya for helping us with all our travel plans and for follow-up on that whole passport drama thing. You are terrific. We will definitely use World Travel in the future. You are great to work with and helped us get a wonderful memorable vacation on a budget yet put us in a place where we felt like millionaires. HA! Now how many people can do THAT in a days work!!! ;-)  Okay, I’ve used up too much of your time … enjoy your weekend and keep us in mind if there are any “great” deals out there! – Kathy
